Renn Lambert is presenting at this year’s annual Water Environment of Utah (WEAU) conference in St. George, Utah, on Thursday, April 19. The conference is an opportunity for WEAU water quality professionals, including public works staff, treatment plant operator, engineers, scientists, and planners to get together to exchange ideas and attend presentations on a number of relevant topics related to water science and engineering. Renn’s presentation is titled, “EnviroDIY Open-Source Wireless Data Logging for Low-Cost Monitoring Network.” The presentation will describe new, cost effective, open-source wireless sensing devices and their potential impact on data monitoring. The devices are easy-to-use and provide low-cost solutions for data logging and wireless data streaming. This work is in partnership with the Stroud Water Research Center and Utah State University (Jeff Horsburgh) with funding from the William Penn Foundation, EPA, and NSF.
